Nuclear Plant 8B Angel and Sebastian

                           How its Produced
Nuclear energy originates from the splitting of uranium atoms, a process called fission.
This generates heat to produce steam, which is used by a turbine generator to generate
electricity. Because nuclear power plants do not burn fuel, they do not produce
greenhouse gas emissions.

                              How the Plant Works
Nuclear plants split the atoms to heat the water and turns it into steam. The steam spins
a turbine to generate electricity. It takes sophisticated equipment and a highly trained
work force to make it happen.

                                   Benefits and Risks
Nuclear power is clean, efficient, and cheap and it causes the least amount of deaths of
all energies. There are two rate, but huge, disadvantages. If something goes wrong, it
can create a nuclear meltdown. The resultant radioactivity is catastrophic. The spent fuel
is also radioactive, making it difficult to discard
