Hydrogen Energy 8A
Hydrogen Energy
How Hydrogen Energy Is Made
In electrolysis, electricity is run through water to separate the hydrogen and oxygen atoms. This method can use wind, solar, geothermal, hydro, fossil fuels, biomass, nuclear, and many other energy sources.
How The Hydrogen Plant Works
The electricity can be used, in a process called electrolysis, to split water into hydrogen and oxygen is made from coal mostly by bashing the fuel into powder and passing steam and oxygen through it. It is made from natural gas by heating it and reacting it with steam. Large tanks of hydrogen fuel are turned into thousands of hydrogen fuel. The reactions flow into he cells and in this case its hydrogen and oxygen. They mix with the electrolyte to produce an electrical charge and water as a side effect.
Risks of Hydrogen Energy
The two prime dangers from fuel cell and hydrogen-powered vehicles are the danger of electrical shock and the flammability of the fuel. Most Vehicles that are powered by Hydrogen Energy are at risk of the gas catching fire and possibly exploding the car.
Benefits Of Hydrogen Energy
The use of hydrogen greatly reduces pollution. A great advantage of using hydrogen as an energy is that when its combined with oxygen its only byproducts are water and heat.
