The Geothermal energy is stored in the Earth and the Earths internal heat is the thermal generated from the radioactive decay and the continual from the Earths formation may reach over 7,200 °F. The hot water can later on be released through geysers, hot springs, steam vents, underwater hydrothermal, and mud pots, these are all sources of the Geothermal Energy.



How does the Geothermal Energy Work?

Hot water is pumped from deep underground through a well under high pressure.When the water reaches the surface, which causes the water to turn into steam.The steam spins a turbine,which is connected to a generator that produces electricity. 


Risks of using Geothermal Energy

The risks of using Geothermal Energy are they raise the sea level, floods, prolong dry seasons it can also affect your health like causing Asthma, Bronchitis and Cancer. 


Benefits of using Geothermal Energy

 The benefits of using Geothermal Energy is that they are non-polluting, renewable sources, environmentally friendly and they are available in most places.
