  • The Cartwheel galaxy non thermal radio and optical spokes    but they are not the same spokes. 

  •  The unusual shape of the Cartwheel maybe due to a collision with a smaller galaxy, such as those in the upper right of the image.
  • When massive stars explode as super novas they leave behind neutron stars and black holes.

Fun Fact
did you know the Cartwheel galaxy is bigger than our Milky Way galaxy.
