  Coral Reefs Most coral reefs are located in tropical shallow waters less than 50 meters deep, in the western regions of Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean, and Greater Carribean. Corals thrive best in tropical waters where temperatures range from 23 to 29 c. T here are a few animals in the Coral Reef like the Clown Fish, eel, and Cuttle fish,  Dart fish and Crabs. There are many plants too such as sea weed, sea lettuce , Kelp sea grass, and eel grass. T he climate reaches 70 - 80  degrees fahrenheit .   They also develope great in sunny places .
